Our roofing tiles are manufactured using globally renowned Japanese technology at a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is located in the village Tirappane in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka.
OUR CLAY
We source clay from the historic, man-made reservoir – the Nachchaduwa Tank, located in Anuradhapura. where the clay is obtained by desilting the historic man made reservoir of water.
Benefit to the environment and community
The clay used by Samson Rajarata Tiles is obtained by desilting the Nachchaduwa Tank, a process which removes collected silt, helping retain the water level and preventing overflow. The resultant increase in capacity benefits farming in the region. This process allows us to ensure that we source natural high quality clay for Rajarata Tiles, without harming the environment and contributing to the welfare of the community.
